How can I block a SIM-card?

Due to the blocking of the number you can be sure that nobody will use it in case the telephone is lost or stolen. You can block the number using one of the following ways:

Call to the lifecell call-center at 5433 (free from any lifecell number or 0 800 20 5433 (free from a landline), select part 5 of the main menu, them «To block a stolen SIM-card»;

Use the self-service system My lifecell if the number has been previously registered in the system and you remember your Super Password;

Address the lifecell Subscriber Support Center.

While blocking the number of a lost SIM-card via the lifecell call-center or the Subscriber Support Center it is necessary to provide the following information to identify yourself as the owner of the number:

1. A secret word (if any).

2. Two numbers you call the most frequently and main account balance (if a secret word has nit been chosen).

3. Other questions (if necessary).

If the number is a contract, it will be enough to name the full name of the owner of a phone number and passport details. This is to prevent malicious acts that could apply to block numbers on your behalf.

The blocking of a SIM-card is free. You can unblock a SIM-card for free during the first 5 days (not including the day of the blocking and unblocking). For each subsequent day you will need to pay a fee for storing a number up to 0.20 UAH per a day including VAT but without the Pension fee.
 
Can I receive a SIM-card by mail?

If you can’t visit the Subscriber Support Center to replace a SIM-card, you can order the SIM-card to be delivered by mail. For the detailed information of the service, please, address the lifecell call-center at 5433 (free within the lifecell network or 0 800 20 5433 (free from a landline).

The «SIM-card replacement by mail» service costs 35 UAH including all taxes.

SIM-card warranty replacement

Warranty (free) replacement of a SIM-card is made within 3 months from the date the SIM-card is activated if it was disable due to the operator's fault. The SIM-cards having external damage or blocked due to incorrect PUK-code input are not the subject of the warranty replacement.

For the warranty replacement of the SIM-card, please, contact the lifecell Subscriber Support Center in your city.

 
How can I prolong the validity of the number?

До уваги абонентів, що обслуговуються на умовах попередньої оплати та знеособлено (без укладання договору про надання телекомунікаційних послуг в письмовій формі).

Термін дії номера становить 365 календарних днів від дня поповнення рахунку на суму 10 грн або більше одним платежем (день поповнення рахунку +наступні 364 календарні дні).

У разі відсутності поповнення, через 365 календарних днів всі вихідні послуги за номером будуть заблоковані. Протягом наступних 30 календарних днів за номером будуть доступні лише вхідні послуги. У разі відсутності поповнення на суму 10 грн. або більше одним платежем, номер буде повністю відключений від мережі lifecell.*/**

Щоб перевірити термін дії номера, наберіть *121# кнопка виклику. Для продовження терміну дії номера на 365 календарних днів необхідно поповнити рахунок на 10 грн. або більше одним платежем.

Про технічну можливості повторного використання номера після того, як він був відключений у зв'язку із закінченням терміну дії, Ви можете дізнатися звернувшись до call-центру lifecell за номером 5433 (безкоштовно в мережі lifecell) або 0 (800) 20 5433 (безкоштовно в межах України).


* застосовується у випадках, якщо абонент впродовж 3 останніх місяців терміну дії номеру (365 календарних днів) не користувався послугами, що тарифікуються (вихідні дзвінки, відправка SMS- та MMS-повідомлень, доступ до мережі Інтернет тощо), або надаються в межах денного пакету послуг та за умови, що в такі 3 місяці щомісячна плата (щомісячна абонентська плата) за відповідним абонентським номером не нараховувалася;

** у разі користування абонентом впродовж 3 останніх місяців терміну дії номеру (365 календарних днів) послугами, що тарифікуються або надаються в межах денного пакету послуг, такий термін дії номеру подовжується на 3 місяці, рахуючи від дня, наступного за днем останнього отримання зазначених послуг.

If your SIM-card has been damaged or a phone was stolen, you can restore a SIM-card with an old phone number. The conditions of the tariff plan, bonuses, services ordered and the account balance at the time of blocking will be preserved!

To restore the number and get a new SIM-card you need to contact a lifecell store in your city.

Attention! The SIM-card can be replaced only if the ID document of the owner of the number is presented (passport, driver’s license, military card or pension certificate).

To renew a SIM-card as quickly as possible, please, take a plastic holder for a SIM-card, if any.

The SIM-card replacement costs 50 UAH including all taxes. This cost will be deducted from your main account.

 
How can I restore my number if the SIM-card has has been lost or the cellphone has been stolen?

To restore the number and to receive a new SIM-card one must address lifecell Subscriber Support Center in your city.

Attention! The SIM-card can be replaced only if the ID document of the owner of the number is presented (passport, driver’s license, military card or pension certificate).

To renew a SIM-card it is necessary to provide the following information to be identified as the owner of the number:

1. A secret word (if any).

2. Two numbers you call the most frequently and main account balance (if a secret word has nit been chosen).

3. Other questions (if necessary).

In case of the successful identification you will receive a new SIM-card with your old number, in such case the tariff plan, the balance of the account at the moment of its renewal or blocking, the services ordered will be preserved.

The SIM-card replacement costs 50 UAH including all taxes. This cost will be deducted from your main account.
 
How to change a SIM-card remotely at any time?

To change a SIM-card remotely one must pre-buy “A backup SIM-card” at any lifecell store, having passed the corresponding identification of the owner of the number.

A «backup SIM- card» is the additional SIM-card with your number to be immediately activated if the main SIM-card is lost or damaged.

If your main SIM-card is lost or damaged you can immediately activate your «backup SIM-card» using any method after having passed the corresponding identification as the owner of the number by:

  • calling the call-center at 5433 (from the mobile) or at 0 800 20 5433 (free from a landline and within lifecell network);
  • addressing the nearest lifecell store.

Herewith a lost or damaged main SIM-card is disconnected and the “Backup SIM-card” is activated.

One subscriber can have only one “Backup SIM-card” to be connected at the same time.

The «backup SIM-card» costs 50 UAH including all taxes. This is paid at the lifecell store. The additional payment for SIM-card activation is not paid.

How can I change a standard SIM-card to Micro SIM or Nano SIM?

lifecell took care of the owners of the smartphones thus all start packets already contain a SIM-card of two formats namely a standard and Micro SIM. If your SIM-card was issued earlier or it is necessary to replace it by a nano SIM, you can do that at the lifecell store.

The SIM-card replacement costs 50 UAH including all taxes. This cost will be deducted from your main account.

 
Registration of prepaid subscribers

Prepaid registration service (lifecell subscribers, who receive telecommunication service without Agreement conclusion in written form) allows to protect Your number from unauthorized misappropriation by others.

In order to be registered subscriber should:

1. Visit one of lifecell shops or enter to personal cabinet on My lifecell.

2. Submit personally written application request (for individuals or legal entities). In personal cabinet, registration can be done by using an electronic digital signature.

3. When applying written application form by physical person national passport Ukrainian citizen or document it replaced is required In the case of submission of documents by a representative of a legal entity, an additional document shall be provided certifying its authority (power of attorney).

4. Confirm the use of the SIM card by providing a card for checking (in the shop) or voicing / demonstration / indicating in the application a one-time password sent by operator to the subscriber`s number that is registering, or voicing / demonstrating / indicating in the application secret word established in accordance with the procedure operator.

Prepaid registration service is free of charge and available for any physical person or legal entity.

How can I get to know my PIN/PUK code?

PIN/PUK cods were indicated on SIM-holder. If SIM-holder is absent, you can find your PIN/PUK using any of the following ways:

Call to the service center of lifecell, dialing 5433 (free from any lifecell number or 0 800 20 5433 (free from a landline), select the part 5 of the main menu, then “To block a missed SIM-card”;

Use the self-service system My lifecell if the number was not previously registered in the system and you remember your Super Password;

Address the lifecell Subscriber Service Center..

When addressing the Call Center or Subscriber Service Center, be ready to provide the following information to identify you as the owner of the number:

1.A secret word (if any).

2. Two numbers you call the most frequently and main account balance (if a secret word has nit been chosen).

3.Other questions (if necessary).

 
Setting a «secret word»

Rendering of some services such as blocking of the number, renewal of the SIM-card, obtaining of the information on PIN / PUK codes etc., requires the obligatory identification of the owner of the number. The identification lets us secure the subscribers’ numbers from the possible fraud. To make the identification simple you can set a “secrete word” for a telephone number or the contract. In such a case you will not have to specify the other data (about the calls, top-up etc.) to identify yourself. 

To set “a secret word”, please, address the lifecell call-center calling 5433 or the Subscriber Support Center in your city.
